Bridges aren’t built overnight
He’s from Missouri and I’m from New York. We met in Germany on Christmas Day, 2013. He was performing at a festival with his family and I was touring Europe singing with a gospel choir. We had an 18 hour window to meet. Our story is living proof that God is outside of the box and in the details.
Hi, we’re Mina and Brydon Brett, a musical, interracial couple with a unique twist—I’m Pentecostal, and Brydon is Latter-day Saint. After five years of long distance dating and navigating the complexities of our faiths and cultures, we tied the knot and now co-host the Bretter Together Podcast together. Our blueprint is to build bridges, not only within Christianity but across all humanity. We believe that we all have a lot more in common than not and that, no matter our differences, there’s always a bridge to be built.
